oK... Situation goes as follows:
You buy a proven breeder morph female. The previous owner and buyer are unaware of the female being gravid. A month after receiving the animal, she lays an average sized clutch.
What do you do? Do you as the buyer rightfully keeps whatever is produced.Do you the buyer should send the offspring back to the original owner if requested.Or would you and the previous owner split the value of the clutch.

well as the buyer i would assume you owned all rights However, if this were to happen to me, my conscious would not allow me to keep quiet and I would notify the former owner and offer some kind of split.

Well the decent thing would be to inform the seller and offer to go halves. Not sure how many people would though. I dont think i could not tell them.

I think it would depend on who I bought them off. If they were good reptile keepers, and they just did not see them mating, then I would tell them, and split the dfference. If they were bad keepers, who did not look after their reptiles, or just wanted to get rid of the animal, then I would probably not tell them. Cheers, Brian.

I think you should share the profits or at least inform the previous owner then see were you go from there.
