Cruise and Cameron appear in Leicester Square


.Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have been greeted by hundreds of fans in London's Leicester Square.The stars flew into the capital for the premiere of comedy spy thriller Knight and Day.

True to form, Cruise spent well over two hours working his way around the awaiting crowd meeting and shaking hands with as many as he could.

Knight and Day features Cruise as a secret agent who seems to have been set up. Diaz stars as a woman unwittingly caught up in the middle of the action and taken along for the ride.

It's not the first time the two actors have worked together, having already teamed up previously on Cameron Crowe's "Vanilla Sky."

Diaz said: "Tom is just amazing, he's so much fun, he's really just got the greatest spirit, he really loves making movies and every day you just come to work knowing that you are going to have a laugh and do the best work that you can do in a day and it's a lot of fun."

Cruise described her as "a great actress and such a good person to work with".
